Summer Staff

Since 1924 Rowe Camp has been touching the hearts and souls of young people, because it's a place where young people and their culture are respected. The invitation at the heart of the camp is to form deep connections; to be real, authentic, and honest; and to accept and respect oneself and others. Rowe is about people, some highly visible and directly involved in the programs, others in the background holding the energy and caring for the land, the buildings, and the space in which the magic happens.

Support Staff are most often hired for the entire summer period. They receive $215 per week plus room and board. Support staff live in community on site. They generally share space in a room with 1 - 3 other staff. There is an orientation period (June 15 - 20 ) before camp actually begins, for which a pro-rated compensation will be provided. This is an important time as it gives everyone a chance to get to know one another and to learn their jobs.
