September 12-14
Can you picture yourself when you were young, when you enjoyed painting, cutting papers, pasting them down, and writing on your creations? You could spend hours lost in the joy of your artistic expression. Do you remember a time when you could paint what you wanted and nobody told you that you used the wrong color, or made suggestions about how you could "improve" your artwork? If you would like to return to that childlike, non judgmental place of pure spontaneity, creativity and joy, then join Linda Novick as you and she establish a sacred art space in which to explore watercolor, pastels, collage and printmaking. Break through your limited concepts of yourself as not having any artistic talent. This workshop can be transformational and can help you tap into your creativity in ways you've never dreamed you could!
Everyone, regardless of skill level will enjoy Linda's approach to painting and collage. She will demonstrate how to use the materials, including brushes, pastels, and inks and you will be free to explore your own visions when you use these materials. Linda will show you ways to work from nature using pastels and paints, with Rowe's gorgeous early autumn scenery as inspiration. Explore your inner landscape as you experiment with images from your memory, dreams or nature. We'll provide free materials including brushes, glitter, collage material, inks and watercolors. You may also bring whatever art supplies you wish. Linda creates a supportive, non competitive atmosphere where her contagious enthusiasm encourages you to blossom in your self expression and return to who you are as pure artist. Because of the personal instruction Linda offers, enrollment is limited to 20 participants.

"Linda is unique. She guided and encouraged the least to most skilled with the same enthusiasm and warmth. The experience opened me to a deeper interaction with my artist nature."
