September 19-21
For women, sexuality and spirituality are linked at the source. Deep sexual satisfaction is more than just physical; it can bring a sense of oneness with the Great Spirit. It can create new pathways in the brain powerful enough to heal histories of abuse and postpone signs of aging. But our society artificially divides sex and spirit, giving us messages like "nice girls don't" that restrict our sensuous, soulful, playful, powerful selves. When we dismantle these destructive "good girl/bad girl" judgments, we can give voice to the remarkable intelligence of our bodies, visualize our deepest longings, discover new connections between physical desire and spiritual consciousness, and make room for joy and other agents of healing. Join Prue and Gina in another magical, heart opening women's journey to the sacred within ourselves the profoundly loving and creative force that enlivens each one of us. We'll learn about healing the relationships between sexuality and spirituality, and hear the latest pre publication information from Gina's extraordinary survey about sex and spirit. And we'll absorb some of the beauty Prue touched when she recently lived eight months in Italy.
Women who have attended this workshop say:
"This weekend full of woman knowledge and goddess energy was one of the most sensual, deep, and delightful experiences I've ever had. I realized I'm not alone in believing that sex can be both sacred and fun."
"I learned that women thrive and blossom when treated with the information and dignity they deserve around their sexuality. The process focused on positive change, and people glowed as a result."
"The workshop inspired my breaking the silence, speaking out with other women. I find myself unfolding, awakening, expanding, gently and slowly to something that I've always known."
We'll experience how intimately our bodies are connected with Mother Earth as we explore sensuous inner and outer landscapes with Prue. We'll play with the elements; air, fire, earth, and water. We'll create our own sacred spaces and support one another in moving beyond fear, shame, and fragmentation and into closer relationship with ourselves, our partners, and the planet. We'll laugh, cry, make music, meditate, and nurture ourselves and each other. We'll have permission to ask for what we want. We'll honor the nature spirits that inhabit Rowe and connect with them through shamanic journeying. We'll create a safe space to look into our deepest sexual passions and compassions, the ones that exist beyond cultural definitions. Women of all ages, beliefs, and orientations are welcome!
Please bring two objects to place on the group altar, one representing an aspect of your sexual story you want to release, the other representing an aspect you want to nurture. Bring your voice as well as drums, rattles, and other instruments if you have them. Above all, bring a sense of readiness to explore the merging of your body, mind, heart, and soul.
