Psychodrama is the revolutionary healing method created by J.L. Moreno, MD, a contemporary of Freud, Jung, and Adler, and developed further by his wife and companion, Zerka T. Moreno. When Dr. Moreno came to the United States in the 1930s, a mature man in his fifties, he met and married Zerka Moreno, who was 21. She has carried on his work for more than thirty years after his death.
Psychodrama is a tool that can help us (and the world) relieve some of our pain by helping people bring to life their inner world. Psychodrama can assist in healing the past and offer inspiration for the future. Join us as we endeavor to touch a vastness of life and creative vitality, which J.L. Moreno called spontaneity, the highest form of intelligence. When we know the Healing Source, we’ll have learned the heart and essence of this extraordinary method.
Ed Schreiber worked intimately with Zerka Moreno for 14 years and has distilled the essence of Moreno’s work into the Moreno Codes, which are exceptionally user-friendly, simple, and can be utilized in any life situation. Ed directs the Moreno Institute East and is co-editing a collection of Zerka Moreno’s selected works. A Master Addiction Counselor, he’s spent many years working to help people live fully, even in the face of dying.
