Learn practical tips for meeting the right men and avoiding the wrong ones, including overcoming shyness, icebreakers that actually work, beginning and continuing a conversation, flirting, and expanding your network of friends. We’ll use a blend of informative, amusing, challenging, and fun mini-lectures, group exercises, and discussions. You’ll learn to capitalize on your strengths and use new skills to combine sensuality, practicality, spirituality, and a sense of adventure in meeting a mate.

Jim Sullivan, author of Boyfriend 101- A Gay Guy’s Guide to Dating, Romance and Finding True Love, is a dating and relationship coach with 25 years counseling experience. He’s been a teacher, counselor, and community activist and was one of the first volunteers at Gay Men’s Health Crisis during the height of the AIDS crisis in the 80’s. He founded Partnership for the Homeless, which became a national model for faith community volunteer service, and he is national columnist for MSN’s Dating & Personals channel.
