How can we get our own needs met if we are not in a couple or family group? What are those needs, anyway? Which needs are healthy? Aging is not for the faint of heart, especially those without partners, in a couples-and-family-oriented society. However, there are so many joyous ways to live a creative and loving life as a mature soloist. In this workshop we will use short exercises, in-depth discussions, community building, art, music, writing, and just plain fun to learn about deepening relationships, creating new ones, and getting our social and spiritual needs met. The activities will enhance skills and confidence in those who desire long-term partnerships and will offer support and confirmation for those who embrace their single status.
