“The eyes are windows to the soul. ” This eye-opening workshop will integrate the art, science, practical, and spiritual aspects of vision into unique eye-care philosophy. In his practice, Dr. Grossman uses a full range of mind-body therapies combined with conventional approaches.
His philosophy is based on the belief that vision is not static and it need not degenerate. Poor vision is not just physical and has the ability to improve. There are practical alternatives for helping vision without resorting to stronger prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses, or submitting to surgery.
Marc will offer an insightful, practical, and holistic approach to eye care for those who want to improve and preserve their eyesight and become less dependent on glasses or contacts. According to recent scientific and psychological research on the human visual system, childhood issues, stress, and environmental factors have a significant effect on vision. Therefore, to improve vision, the condition of the whole person needs to be addressed, including diet, attitude, work, school, environment, physical, and emotional issues.
He will share yogic, Chinese and Bates Method exercises, and acupressure techniques to prevent, stabilize, or reverse eye disease. We will learn nutritional and herbal eye-care remedies, uncover the deeper meaning of vision, and discover how one’s inner vision affects his/her outer vision. We will explore the underlying physical and psychological causes of numerous vision problems. Through storytelling of actual cases, humor, play, music, and creativity, Marc’s workshop will touch your soul.
How we see is the largest determining factor in what we see. Visual symptoms are valuable messages through which we can be more aware of our true nature. This workshop, approved for CEUs for nurses, will give you the tools to re-program your consciousness and gain skills for modifying your perceptions of the world.
