Most non-western cultures have rituals and practices to facilitate the safe passage of departing spirits to the other side after death to ensure that they literally do not hang around the living, draining energy and invisibly influencing us. Our culture, however, has few practices for releasing the dead. The result is we have obsessions, dysfunctions, and complexes that often turn out to be ancestral spirit energies trying in vain to speak or act through us to resolve unfinished issues of their making. Untimely deaths, addictions, and mental illnesses are just a few of the issues that can be traced to unhappy spirits that need healing.

Roger Woolger will share his findings from close to 25 years of working in regression therapy, teaching a spiritual psychotherapy that is a unique synthesis of Jung, psychodrama, gestalt, and shamanic healing. This workshop will be highly experiential, combining lecture, demonstration, supervised work in pairs, and group processing. He will demonstrate safe methods to release and help spirits and heal you and your family line. Explore, with Roger’s guidance, the “unfinished business” of your ancestors. Learn to scan your subtle body for signs of attachments and how to recognize attachments in others. Learn how to protect yourself and your space, how to talk to and help unhappy spirits, and how to send them lovingly into the light.

Please come prepared with a rough sketch of your family tree, in your head or on paper, going back as many generations as you can. Bring old photographs or other mementos that will help to focus on past generations. If you don’t know it already, gather information about members of the family who have passed on. What were their lives like? How did they live and die? How did they fit in or not fit in the family? This workshop is also open to professionals who are considering entering Roger’s more extensive training.

Dr. Roger Woolger holds degrees in psychology, philosophy, and comparative religion from Oxford and London Universities and was trained at the Jung Institute in Zurich. He has been conducting professional trainings in his unique form of regression therapy, Deep Memory Process (DMP), in Britain, Brazil and the US since 1993, attracting therapists and healers from all over the world. Internationally recognized for his pioneering work in past life regression, author of Other Lives, Other Selves and The Goddess Within, he has an extraordinary ability to illuminate the broader spiritual picture and to bring people through deep transformative experiences in a safe atmosphere. Working with Roger will be Patricia L. Walsh, a multi-dimensional healer certified in Deep Memory Process and the chief US trainer for Woolger Training International. She specializes in healing soul fragmentation, releasing spirits, soul retrieval, and is a karmic astrologer working with maps of the psyche, the soul’s past experience, and present intention.
