Ever since Adam and Eve, couples have been struggling to create an intimate relationship that fulfills their deepest desires. Accumulated wisdom of the ages, now supported by modern research, shows the secret of success is having and using the right skills, which we were never taught. LoveWorks teaches us how to enjoy a vibrant, healthy relationship. This retreat is designed for any couple that wants to build a better relationship, whether gay or straight, in or considering being in a committed relationship, married, engaged, co-habiting, or dating.
In LoveWorks, you will learn to create a shared vision of your life together, assume personal responsibility and avoid blaming, listen to your partner for full understanding, negotiate conflicts and find win/win solutions, build or re-build trust, increase your repertoire of things you like to do together, appreciate each other, and see your relationship as a spiritual journey.
Jack and Corinne have been working with couples for over two decades. They freely share their own foibles and struggles, and their marriage has served as inspiration and proving ground for the skills they teach. After they present and demonstrate a skill, each couple practices that skill with one another, so that privacy is maintained. Community sessions are used for voluntary sharing, additional guidance, feedback, fine-tuning, applications, and next steps.
Underlying all of these skills are the ideas that your partner is a blessing in your life, that the universe has put you in each other’s path as a gift for your learning and enlightenment, and that together you can co-create a life of deep intimacy and harmony. The sustaining principle of the workshop is that the romance, excitement, and poetry of an intimate relationship can flourish with the proper skills. Each couple will get a signed copy of Jack and Corinne’s book The Five Secrets of Marriage from the Heart as a Valentine’s Day present.

“I agreed to go, but I was very skeptical, very dubious, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was extremely helpful and informative. I didn’t feel pressured to share, which actually freed me up to participate. It also wasn’t confrontational. It took away the blame factor that gets in the way of good communication”
