All of us, male and female alike, are potentially powerful channels of healing energy that can benefit us, our loved ones, our communities, and the planet. However, at this time in history, it is especially important that women manifest their healing power. In an ancient Indian myth, we are told of a time when the earth was threatened by dark forces and could only be saved by the power of the sacred feminine. The time this myth refers to is not in the distant past: It is now. Women hold the key to the healing of our planet. More than ever before, the planetary situation is challenging us to step into our full power and dedicate ourselves to the healing power of love.

Women’s longing for sanctuary comes from a deep and irrepressible hunger of the soul for the nourishment that only immersion in sacred time and sacred space can provide—space consecrated to spirit, to the care of the soul, and to the power of deep listening. A consummate healer of hearts and awakener of souls, Jalaja Bonheim has mastered the art of co-creating sacred space with and for women. She transmits the essence of the sacred feminine in ways that change women’s lives and awaken them to their true power.

This weekend, Jalaja will lead a circle of women into sacred space, help them get in touch with their own healing energy, dissolve blockages to its flow, and celebrate the beauty of who they are. We will be working with movement, sound, meditation, guided writing practices, storytelling, and ritual.

Jalaja Bonheim has written four books, including The Hunger for Ecstasy: Fulfilling the Soul’s Need for Passion and Intimacy. She has been leading women’s circles for over 20 years both nationally and internationally, trains women in the art of Circlework™, and is the founder and director of the Institute for Circlework.
