At the core of Native American culture is the belief that all things are descended from and are part of the unifying force of Creation, or Great Spirit, which is at once benevolent, powerful, vulnerable, and beyond naming. The Earth is a living organism—our Mother—who has borne us as Her children. Many native peoples have lived consciously for generations, feeling a spiritual connection to the natural world and a humble respect for the sanctity of all things.

The human race has been placed in the circle alongside all other members of the Creation family, and we’ll experience this unbroken circle during our time together, for the tribal way is instinctive and natural. Experience our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual connection to each other and to all of Creation. Recover your love, your creative intelligence, your joy, and your enthusiasm in every moment of your life.

Grandfather Manitonquat (Medicine Story) makes no apologies for being an idealist who has kept to the vision he had long ago. Great Spirit told him long ago to share his wisdom with all who want to hear. He’s a counselor, teacher, story teller and keeper of the lore of the Wampanoag Nation of Massachusetts, and he’s matured into a wise and loving elder who teaches, tells stories, and counsels throughout North America and Europe. He is part of the North American Indian Spiritual Unity Movement and a co-founder of the Tribal Healing Council. His newest book is Changing the World, and he wrote Return to Creation and three other books. Every summer he runs camps in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Italy, and, next year, Denmark, too. His compassion and centeredness is a healing balm, and we welcome our old friend home with open arms. Please join us.
