Apr 6-8, 2007 (Easter Weekend)
We all yearn to feel connected and whole within ourselves and with others. This is a workshop for single people, middle aged and beyond, who would like the warmth and support of a nurturing community while learning to create positive and joyful experiences, by yourself or relating to others.
Where does the source of our ability to love reside? How can we nurture that ability? How can we meet our own needs, creatively, if we’re not in a couple or family group? Which needs are healthy and which are not? How do we limit ourselves from getting what we want? Can we change our image of what it means to be single?
We have the capacity to find intimacy if we’re flexible about how it comes, from brief encounters to fulfilling friendships. Being single can be joyful; we have unexplored, exciting possibilities in our lives, and we are free!
Explore your behavior, beliefs, and conditioned responses using many creative tools, exercises in dyads and small groups, and sharing in the whole group. For those interested in finding long-term partnerships, this workshop will enhance the skills and confidence needed to pursue opportunities.
In this workshop you will acquire insight, learn how to create states of aliveness and joy, find kindred spirits who understand your way of being in the world, and feel empowered to create the life you want right through your advanced years.
