“The eyes are windows to the soul.” How we see is the largest determining factor in what we see. Marc Grossman’s philosophy is based on the belief that vision is not static and it need not degenerate. Visual symptoms are valuable messages through which we can be more aware of our true nature. This eye-opening workshop will give you the tools to re-program your consciousness and gain skills for modifying your perceptions of the world. We will integrate the science, art, practical, and spiritual aspects of vision.
In his practice, Marc uses a full range of mind-body therapies combined with conventional approaches. He offers an insightful, practical, and holistic approach to improving and preserving eyesight. Recent scientific and psychological research shows that childhood issues, environmental factors, and stress have significant effects on our vision. We’ll explore the underlying physical and psychological causes of numerous vision problems.
Dr. Grossman will share yogic and Chinese eye exercises and acupressure techniques to prevent, stabilize, or reverse eye disease. Through storytelling of actual cases, humor, play, music, and creativity, we’ll learn nutritional and herbal eye-care remedies, discover how our inner vision affects our outer vision, and uncover the deeper meaning of vision. Approved for CEUs for nurses.
Marc Grossman has been a developmental behavioral optometrist for more than 25 years and is a licensed acupuncturist. He co-authored Greater Vision: A Comprehensive Program for Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Clarity; Natural Eye Care: A Comprehensive Manual for Practitioners of Oriental Medicine; and Magic Eye Beyond 3D: Improve Your Vision. Dr. Grossman lectures and teaches workshops across the country for physical therapists, chiropractors, body workers, social workers, occupational therapists, and other optometrists. He’s a consultant to school systems, rehabilitation centers, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. His wide range of knowledge provides the foundation for an integrated approach to vision and its influence on the body, mind, and spirit of each person he sees.
