Kindred Spirits is for people interested in expanding their growing edges, relaxing, and having fun. A wide variety of activities are provided in a beautiful, natural environment, where the cabins are rustic and the food divine. Free your imagination to create what you have always wanted. Explore “lifeshops” in relationships, awakening the heart, drumming, breathwork, nurturing the self, community building, creative expression, meditation, music, play, movement, and the healing arts. Immerse yourself in singing, dancing, campfires, support groups, a talent-optional show, swimming, and lots of time just schmoozing.
The journey of Kindred Spirits is the joy of reconnecting with self, the natural world, and other human beings. With its roots in the 12-step recovery movement, Kindred Spirits encourages authentic expression of feelings and a commitment to balance tears with laughter. We create a fun, safe, relaxed community to which many return year after year and where newcomers are welcomed into the family with open arms.

Lisa Silverman is a Certified Breathwork Therapist, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a caring and enthusiastic practitioner of Shiatsu Massage and Vipassana Meditation. Lisa brings a centered, loving focus to all her healing work and is currently the volunteer coordinator at a rehabilitation center.
Richard J. Ross, M.Ed. is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice on Nantucket Island as well as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. A camper and staff member for several years Richard brings his passion and ‘love’ for Rowe and the KS camp into his first year as a co-director. He brings remarkable compassion, warmth and humor into his interactions with campers.
Wendy Bolton Jensen has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work. She is a practitioner of Reconnective Healing, energy psychology, and Healing from the Body Level up. As a former Sr. High camper at Rowe, she brings the youthful spirit that Rowe gave her as an adolescent to Kindred Spirits Camp, as well as a deep passion for Rowe as a whole.
